Infrastructure Architect

Our client is continuing their journey with multiple projects where they are looking for an Infrastructure Architect to join their organisation on an initial 12 month contract basis with further extensions. This client is working on multiple projects which would give you an exciting opportunity to cutting edge Technology tools in AWS with solutions such as CloudFront, CloudTrail, Guard Duty, IAM, Cognito, KMS, VPC Network and Security Data Lake.

The Role

The Infrastructure Architect is a key leadership role on our client's security program, reporting into the Head of Architecture this role is responsible for collaborating with Architecture, Security, Data Services, Platforms Services, Risk, Engineering and product teams to help develop security architecture blueprint and roadmap.

The key responsibilities will include;

Key Accountabilities

• Drive technology strategy in the business Platforms domain aligning it with the broader business needs and strategy
• Ensure all key architectural decisions are made and governed in accordance with the Framework, including traceability of Solution Designs aligned with artefacts.
• Maintain the integrity of the architecture across APAC ensuring there are clear links between other architecture layers e.g. application, integration, business, infrastructure, data, security.
• Provide leadership and direction to Solution and Project Architects engaged across APAC to support initiatives for Infrastructure, Cloud operations, Network, DR and Identity
• Proactively engage stakeholders at all levels to influence business requirements and solution designs, ensuring these remain aligned with approved technology roadmaps and standards.
• Support portfolio planning, prioritisation, and estimation of transformation initiatives.
• Represent the needs and position of operational support teams in designs and strategies being formulated.
• Support the platform across APAC by ensuring systems are reliable, resilient, and cost effective.

Experience:

• Experienced in delivering Network Architecture, Cloud Infrastructure and Disaster Recovery Strategies
• Strong experience in Enterprise Architecture
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience delivering high-quality strategic architecture artefacts and outcomes
• Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with and present complex technical IT concepts and methodologies to technical and non-technical stakeholders and decision-makers at all levels
• Understanding of cloud platforms in a complex enterprise environment (AWS mandatory)
• Knowledge of project and programme management
• Ability to collaborate effectively in partnership with stakeholders across all Technology related disciplines, including project managers and solution architects
