The Role
We are currently searching for an enthusiastic and experienced full-time Infrastructure Team Leader to join our expanding national team, this role is based in Brisbane but may require travel. If you love a challenge and are a natural-born leader, this role is perfect for you!
Do you enjoy being part of a team that delivers high-quality work? The Infrastructure Team Leader is a pivotal role within Intuit Technologies’ Professional Services Practice. This role will primarily be responsible for managing a team delivering Infrastructure service offerings and solutions for our customers. The role will be a combination of Team Leadership as well as customer work alongside your team. As a technology leader, you will advocate for the right technical solutions that balance the needs of the customer with long-term maintainability, scalability, and security
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring technical delivery of the team is effectively managed to high levels of efficiency and quality.
- Technical leadership across the team to provide consulting, mentoring, and advice to both customers and team members, driving quality outcomes for all parties.
- Acting as an escalation point for engineers in the team.
- Providing input into the development of short- and long-term strategies to retain a competitive advantage, including technology and vendor strategic decisions.
- Lead career development for a team of intelligent, ambitious professionals across a variety of technical disciplines.
- Managing and coaching team members through formal processes around staff performance management, career development, and training.
- This role will primarily be focused on technology services and delivery. This person will be expected to have a high level of technical knowledge to support the team and provide leadership in the technical space.
The Person
The Infrastructure Team Leader is highly experienced in managing technical teams in a high velocity environment, they will have exceptional personal skills with the ability to engage, mentor and motivate team members. With a strong technical delivery background in Infrastructure including cloud, they will be experienced in full cycle people management and leading teams through change, identifying opportunities to improve team efficiency and effectiveness through continuous improvement and/or automation. The Infrastructure Team Leader will have demonstrable experience in contributing to successful project outcomes, seeing technical challenges through to resolution, and a passion for working with people and the ability to quickly build rapport, leveraging strong working relationships internally and externally to enable work outcomes.
