About the Role
The Infringement Review Administration Officer is responsible for processing incoming correspondence received by the Shire, in relation to Infringement Review requests. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and experience in an interesting area of the organisation. The Infringement Review Team is a lovely, mutually supportive Team and the successful candidate will receive extensive training and ongoing support to assist them in this temporary role.
Reporting to the Infringement Oversight Officer the core responsibilities include:
- Triaging all written correspondence related to Infringement review requests by working through Council’s records management system.
- Attaching appeal and all other correspondence to the Infringement record.
- Managing the Internal review Outlook inbox and providing excellent customer service to the community by responding to general enquiries in timely manner.
- Supporting Council’s Infringement Oversight Officer with additional information requests sent to Customers.
- Assisting with the Internal Review Phone Queue to answer basic customer questions about the Infringement review process or to process infringement payments.
About You
- Understanding of and experience with the infringement process is preferred but not essential.
- Similar experience in Local Government or similar agency with enforcement and infringements preferred.
- Basic understanding about infringements, the Infringement lifecycle and the Infringement review process and Fines Victoria.
- Good written communication skills essential.
- Ability to work equally in a team and independently important.
