The role will see you responsible for:
- Assisting case managers progress their claims from a medical perspective.
- Case conferencing medical cases with other treating professionals such as GP's / Occupational Rehab professionals
- Approving surgery requests from injured workers
- Training and coaching case managers to improve their medical knowledge.
- Assisting injured workers to get back to pre-injury health
- Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation and APRHA registration or a qualified Nurse
- An ability to understand injuries and recommend treatment for rehabilitation.
- Excellent communication skills to take complex medical terminology and explain this in an easy to understand language.
- The ability to work in a fast pace environment with conflicting priorities.
