The roleCBCity has an exciting and rewarding opportunity for someone with previous Injury Management experience to join our Safety and Wellbeing team in both proactive and reactive physical health management. Using your previous Injury Management knowledge and allied health background, you will lead the continuous improvement of the physical health management and hazardous manual task practices. You will also provide advice and guidance on strategic Injury Management of high-risk injury in consultation with the Workers Compensation and Injury Management Officers.
Duties will include but not be limited to: Establish and maintain proactive communication with identified injured team members, their treating practitioners, and other stakeholders to facilitate recovery and return to work. Maintain the Workers Compensation claim file notes and identified Injury Management Plans. Develop and manage proactive physical health programs and projects to improve workplace practices and reduce musculoskeletal related injuries.
Provide advice, education and training to staff to build musculoskeletal disorder (MSD) awareness within the organisation.
