The key focus of this role is to support the Rehabilitation and Return to work processes across a range of (largely physical) injuries within the portfolio and consult and support the pre employment process.
Duties will include:
- Manage key relationships and communicate effectively with all stakeholders, i.e insurers, injured workers, rehab providers, regulators.
- Develop and coordinating treatment and return to work plans within a timely and proactive manner.
- Coach, mentor and support business units with pre-employment screening and Injury Management.
- Prepare reports for senior management whilst ensure file records are kept up-to-date.
To be successful you will:
- Have a Allied Health Qualification (Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Exercise Physiologist, Rehab Consultant, Rehab Counsellor, Psychologist)
- Have 3+ years experience in Occupational Rehabilitation Injury Management
- Have a sound understanding of Workers Compensation (across multiple jurisdictions desired)
- Have an intermediate level in computer literacy or above
