We are currently seeking an experienced Injury Management and Workcover Claims Officer to provide essential support to schools, BCEO, and external agencies, ensuring efficient, timely, accurate, and legislatively compliant management of work injury claims and non-work-related rehabilitation.
About the role:

• Process complex injury claims efficiently.
• Collaborate with Workcover for information tracking.
• Respond independently to standard claims; collaborate on complex cases.
• Ensure compliance through communication with Principals and BCEO managers.
• Collaborate on complex Workcover matters with the Senior Injury Management Lead.
• Gather evidence for Workcover claims, including witness statements.
• Reconcile BCE Workcover claims reports against external data.
• Create accurate reports for Health and Safety using online data.
• Manage weekly wages liability, ensuring legislative compliance.

About you: To be successful in this role you will demonstrate

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Legal or related health discipline or extensive Return to Work Coordination.
• Return to Work Coordinator accreditation/certification desirable.
• Proven experience in Injury Management and Workcover claims coordination.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
