Injury Management Specialist

Are you a seasoned Workers Comp professional with a passion for helping injured workers navigate the journey back to work.

Our client is looking to find a dynamic and compassionate Injury Management Specialist within their Newcastle office.

Key responsibilities:

• Coach and Mentor a team of Case Managers
• Work with corporate employers, and medical professionals to develop comprehensive return-to-work plans.
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify physical and psychological barriers to returning to work.
• Provide expert guidance on accommodations and modifications to support a successful return to the workplace.
• Liaise with insurance professionals and legal teams to ensure compliance with Workers Compensation regulations.
• Improve the Recovery and RTW outcomes, leading to positive performance in RTW measures.

Requirements:

• Extensive Workers Comp Claims/ Injury management experience.
• Qualifications or training in Allied Health an advantage. 
• Prior experience coaching and mentoring case managers
• Strong work ethic and time management skills. 
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Familiarity with MS Office
