Haylo People are currently recruiting an opportunity for a Injury Recovery & Special Projects Consultantto join a community services organisation based in Burwood, VIC.Our client is sourcing a experienced consultant with technical writing expertise. You will work closely with the Injury Recovery Team to continue the program of work to improve the organisations governance structures, procedures and guidance material supporting the compensation claims and injury management process. The Role:
- Lead and oversee the development, implementation and review of process maps, procedures, guidance notes, checklists, forms, letters and other documentation.
- Develop standard letter templates assessable through claims management database to ensure consistent delivery of information to claimants, providers and stakeholders.
- Work with payroll to develop, implement and review e-forms to improve access and streamline compensation processes.
- Design and implement systems to facilitate team access to internal working documents.
- Develop, implement and monitor automated reporting systems for key lead and lag claims and injury management performance indicators.
- Manage the continuous review and improvement of processes and workflows.
- Develop internal audit tools.
- Provide support and training to the Injury Recovery & Support Services Team in relation to the development and implementation of processes, policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain close working relationships with key stakeholders.
About You:
- Tertiary qualifications in a related field and/or significant experience in a similar type role.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of workers compensation and claims management schemes.
- Demonstrated experience in reviewing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives and processes to enhance service delivery capability and outcomes.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to plan, develop and delivery clear comprehensive reports.
- Excellent technical skills in relevant software packages and ability to administer databases, systems and processes.
- Well-developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet tight work demands.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and manage relationships, liaise and consult with internal and external stakeholders.
