The opportunity
Biosis is seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to join our Victorian Heritage team as a Project Assistant. This is a new role which is pivotal in ensuring operational efficiency and providing crucial support to our consultants to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
This role offers opportunities for professional growth and development, supporting peers within the business. Successful performance may lead to participation in the Biosis Graduate Program.
Responsibilities
This position encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, blending administrative tasks with project coordination and support.
• Management of Heritage specific fieldwork equipment, including organisation, cleaning, maintenance, and ensuring compliance with permits, where required.
• Assisting consultants with vehicle checks and lodging faults, where required.
• Assisting consultants with equipment, vehicle and travel booking requests and follow up on necessary actions.
• Assisting consultants with administrative tasks and compiling project data for reporting, ensuring smooth project execution.
• Managing RAP bookings and subcontractor activities under consultant oversight, ensuring project requirements are met and timely scheduling and coordination.
From time to time, the Project Assistant will be directed to perform other tasks not listed above as directed by their reporting manager.
