An opportunity has arisen to join Newell Brands Commercial Group Business Unit.
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for managing a set of mid-tier customers in ANZ via strengthening of relationships, driving additional ranging, and creating cross-selling opportunities. This role is key in providing ongoing support to the sales administration team as well as the Head of Sales & Marketing – APAC, including CRM Administration to our Commercial sales team across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. You will be working in a collaborative and supportive team and reporting directly to the Senior Manager Sales, Commercial Group ANZ.
What you will be responsible for:
- Directly manage a group of Mid-Tier distribution accounts to include thorough promotional planning, NPD launches, develop and leverage customer pricing to agreed targets the customers sales & margin budgets
- Manage product, pricing & availability of cross-selling opportunities
- Manage agreed AOP customer product listings & information management including the
- Co-ordination of new listing requests, website product listing incl. content additions
- Capture and track major distributor projects in our internal CRM systems
- Support the delivery of customer strategies and plans in line with sales and marketing plan
- Assist in the execution and coordination of promotions, merchandising, forecasts, and annual planning when required
- Work closely with our internal distribution, customer service and supply chain teams to support S&OP, service, and inventory levels in our export region
- Provide essential reporting to assist to deliver sales analysis margins and correct product mix to customers
- Support large scale implementation projects across Australia such as hardware product build & ongoing training
- Performs administrative duties/tasks and supports the department regionally and across ANZ/Asia
- Effectively manage the Head of Sales & Marketing – APAC’s travel and expenses
- Assist with organising internal sales & marketing meetings, as well and other sales related events including visits by international visitors.
What you need to be successful?
- Degree qualification in Business Management and/or related field
- Effective communication skills both verbal and non-verbal to manage expectations within the business
- Ability to prioritise tasks according to level of urgency and importance both internally and externally
- Clear and confident negotiation skills
- Advanced Excel, with strong experience in Word and PowerPoint.
- Good understanding of CRM platforms such as SFDC is highly desirable
- Be confident to work ‘on the front foot’ and display initiative to support your colleagues
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and timelines
- Professional and approachable demeanor with excellent communication skills
- A team player with a prominent level of dedication
- Have the ability to travel when required
- Fluent is Cantonese / Mandarin is desirable, but not essential.
