As an Insolvency Accounting Intern, you will learn how to help businesses recover from financial difficulties and support those undergoing insolvency or restructuring. An exciting opportunity is available for a talented Accounting or Finance graduate intern, with strong communication skills, empathy and discretion to provide support to a small team of insolvency experts.
Insolvency Accounting Internship Responsibilities- Daily maintenance of insolvency files and preparing insolvency-related documentation for briefings
- Preparation of correspondence to stakeholders, including preparation of reports to creditors
- Assisting with detailed insolvency investigations and ensuring project plans are up to date
- Working with the Senior Insolvency Specialist to renegotiating existing finances for clients
- Ensuring creditors and supplier benefits are looked after liquidation
- Assisting the Accounting & Audit team with client budgeting and forecasting activities for new owners
- You will be trained in all areas of insolvency, including personal and corporate. These include voluntary administrations, deeds of company agreement, liquidations, receiverships, bankruptcies, and Part Xs
- End-to-end project planning for take-overs and insolvencies for mid tier corporates
- How do conduct thorough reporting and analysis for insolvencies
