THE ROLE – SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
Working direct with the firms principal and manager, you will work on a full range of engagements including Small Business Restructures, Voluntary Administrations and Liquidations. Working on these engagements, you will be exposed to a wide range of stakeholders and have the opportunity to develop your strategic negotiation and leadership skills.
You will handle the day-to-day tasks of existing and ongoing files including:
- Extracting and analysing financial data;
- completing investigations into transactions;
- securing and realising assets;
- preparing various reports to creditors and stakeholders; and
- maintaining insolvency specific software programs and checklists
- Ensuring unwavering compliance with statutory and ethical guidelines.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- A self-starter with a strong drive for self-learning
- Demonstrates strong commercial acumen
- Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in business (with a preference for accounting or finance)
- ARITA qualified or working towards qualification
- CA or CPA (or equivalent) certification or working towards qualification
