The Opportunity
This role is a 12-month fixed term contract as Insurance Officer within the Operations department of a growing superannuation company. This role will play a key part in improving the claims experience for members, giving you the opportunity to make a difference to a claimant's life.
Your responsibilities will include:
Processing and assessing insurance claims in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
Communicating with claimants, beneficiaries, and stakeholders.
Investigating and verifying the validity of claims.
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of claims.
Maintaining detailed records of claims for audit purposes.
Providing exceptional customer service.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of claim processing procedures and systems.
About You
With a strong member focus, you will demonstrate superior customer service and communication skills. Furthermore, to thrive in this role, you'll need to be detail-oriented, possess strong analytical skills, and have a solid understanding of insurance principles (including knowledge of TPD and Income Protection Insurance).
