This tightly held opportunity will see you lead a team of Pricing Analysts, managing the operational reporting and Analysis of our insurance portfolio performance, identifying trends and rating opportunities, and implementing targeted price changes to achieve our growth and profitability goals.
As a Pricing and Analysis Manager, you will also:
- Identify and implement rating opportunities for continuous improvement across the portfolio.
- Manage the preparation of relevant pricing content for the Board report.
- Provide clear and effective leadership to your team, setting clear goals with agreed deliverables and timeframes.
- Ensure ongoing market research and competitor analysis to determine optimal pricing position.
About you
You are a dynamic and motivated leader who enjoys working in a high performing culture and rewarding environment. You will lead your team to deliver outstanding results and impact our community and members in meaningful ways.
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Hold qualifications in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related discipline, with formal Actuarial qualifications desirable.
- Demonstrate knowledge of insurance or related financial products, pricing systems and procedures.
- Possess advanced skills in at least one statistical programming language such as R, SPSS, SAS or equivalent.
- Perform excellent data analysis and interpretation skills.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a wide variety of key stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Demonstrate clear and effective verbal and written communication skills with various stakeholders.
- Pay outstanding attention to detail and ensure accuracy and consistency in all work outputs.
- Think innovatively and manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
