Standards and Integrity is seeking to appoint an Intelligence and Data Analyst to join their team.

We’re looking for a talented and driven Data Analyst to help us deliver on the strategic objectives relating to misconduct prevention, reporting and trends analysis. The Directorate is seeking a critical thinker with a technical aptitude to extract and manipulate data using analytical tools such as Microsoft PowerBI and Excel.
In this role, you’ll be:
- Managing bulk data extractions from multiple systems to compile reports and perform data analysis
- Developing specific reports in PowerBI
- Interpreting data and analysing results to prepare Ministerial, Parliamentary and Executive reposnes
- Assist in the delivery of key projects to support the directorate in transitioning from manual to automated data holdings and reporting
This role would be best suited to someone who is both technically minded with the ability to build strong relationships and work as a team, building robust relationships with multiple stakeholders across the business.
Applicants with experience using Microsoft PowerBI will be highly desirable.

Eligibility and Training Requirements
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- provide a statement from previous employer/s with regard to any disciplinary findings
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement
- complete the Department’s training in Accountable and Ethical Decision-Making within six months of appointment and every three years thereafter.
- complete the Department’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness online course within 3 months of commencement
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit prior to commencement of employment
- complete a declaration prior to employment and annually thereafter disclosing any previous disciplinary findings, criminal charges or convictions, and ongoing conflicts of interest
