The purpose of this role is to support analytical tasks and intelligence capability to identify trends and potential risks, inform the Division's priorities, and respond to ad-hoc data requests related to the security and emergency management functions. The position will also involve producing regular descriptive analysis reports of incidents for areas, regions and state-level, and diagnostic analysis reports on areas of trends and patterns of ongoing or emerging concern.
Ongoing - Full Time Position
The Security and Emergency Management Division supports the Regional Services Group's essential role to make it easier for children, families, schools, and service providers to access responsive and high quality support and services. The Division's vision is one of education communities that are physically and psychologically safe.
The purpose of this role is to support analytical tasks and intelligence capability to identify trends and potential risks, inform the Division's priorities, and respond to ad-hoc data requests related to the security and emergency management functions. The position will also involve producing regular descriptive analysis reports of incidents for areas, regions and state-level, and diagnostic analysis reports on areas of trends and patterns of ongoing or emerging concern.
To be successful in the position, you will need to be able to work on multiple projects in parallel and develop good generalist knowledge across a range of datasets available to the team. You need to be comfortable with projects of highly variable scope, from small data requests completed in minutes to projects spanning months that require planning, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
