ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are currently to seek an experienced Interior Designer to our well experienced and dynamic team based in Glen Huntly.
The role will be to work across our incredible portfolio of clients, to understand their brand and bring innovation to all future designs.
Other duties and responsibilities will be
- Client liaison to determine initial goals/scope of the requrements for space to be designed
- Prepare sketches and other visual aids to demonstrate preliminary designs to clients
- Develop scoping and documentation for architectural projects
- Consult with client or Team Leader of materials, furnishings and decors
- Attend internal or external meetings as required throughout duration of the design
- Maintain up to date knowledge of current trends, techniques and designs within the market
- Ability to use software systems with proficiency - Revit, AutoCad, Lumion, Enscape
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
ACRD are proud to provide development pathways and processes for staff, however there are some key skills we are looking for with this position:
- Formal qualifications in Interior Design/Architecture
- Exentsive experience in Revit and understanding of BIM methodology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic understanding of Building Codes and Inspection Regulations related to Interiors
- A can do attitude with sound problem solving skills
