We are a progressive accounting firm looking for a dynamic Intermediate Accountant looking to advance to a Senior Accountant within 6 / 12 months to to join our growing team. We are a tech savvy, forward thinking team looking for an outstanding new team member to join us in our office on the Gold Coast. The Role:
Due to strong growth, the position of Intermediate Accountant has been created. Join our growing and expanding team in our newly renovated offices in Bundall. Your contributions will be integral to the business's future growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and nurture a portfolio of clients
- Manage and review financial statements, tax returns, and BAS for a diverse client base
- Offer tailored solutions based on client needs
- Assist the team with client advisory, QBCC, GPFR, tax planning, cashflow management and complex tax advice
- Meeting KPIs and targets
- Provide exceptional client service
- Continuously develop skills and knowledge
Ideally:
This role will suit a high level intermediate Accountant with 3+ years of experience in public practice looking for a new challenge. You have a passion for assisting clients and a natural knack for leadership. You have a desire to manage and develop client relationships. Your dedication to client success, coupled with your ability to work harmoniously with teams, sets you apart.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- 3+ years Australian public practice accounting
- Ability to build and manage client relationships
- Strong technical tax knowledge
- Exceptional communication and presentation
- Stable employment history
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent organisational abilities with a knack for meeting deadlines
- Experience using XPM
