The Role: Internal Technical Sales
Do you thrive on all things sales? Join us in a strategic role where your passion for sales will exceed customer expectations for great service and order fulfilment. You will be at the forefront of internal customer sales and support and will occupy a significant position within this awesome
sales team.
For the right candidate, who demonstrates a commitment to high standards, ethics, and teamwork, future opportunities exist to move into external global sales.
What You'll Do:
- Maintaining and strengthening current relationships with key local customers.
- Generation of proposals, quotes, and processing of orders for local and overseas customers.
- Customer response in relation to delivery enquiries.
- Providing product support to local customers and assist with application sales.
- Following-up on outstanding projects and quotes.
- Providing marketing support seminars and trade conferences (e.g. product flyers, brochures, banners, etc.).
- Other tasks as outlined by the Application Sales Manager.
- Comply with all health, safety, quality and environmental policies and procedures and be actively involved with all HSEQ programs and activities.
About You:
- Education: Hold a relevant diploma qualification or higher in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation Engineering would be a desirable foundation for your journey (but is not necessary).
- Experience: Previous experience working within a technical, electrical, or mechanical industry is an advantage.
- Attitude: Hands on approach with good troubleshooting skills, sales and customer support aptitude, and a willingness to learn
- Design: Showcase your prowess in customer requirements and contribute to the research and development of new and existing products.
