The position of the International Business Manager is responsible for the International Business of Raptis. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer the role oversees sales, overseas manufacturing as well as being responsible for strategies for the sale and marketing of both import and export product. The position plays a key part in adapting business practices to build and maintain relationships with professionals and international counterparts as well as interpreting economic, commercial and political information affecting the overseas environment.
About You
With a degree in International Business (or related) you will be a passionate and enthusiastic individual with proven sales, negotiation and communication skills. Strong international negotiations experience will ensure you stand out as well as your experience in the import, export and commodities trading. Timeline management, working with budgets and targets as well as he ability to forward plan will ensure your every success in the role.
About the role
This exciting role will include the following:
- Development of new business opportunities.
- Ensuring sales into overseas markets of company and third party products.
- Develop strategies for sales and marketing in order to achieve targets and margins.
- Determine export strategy and prepare sales plans and budgets.
- Establish policies for pricing, terms of sale, credit, packaging and transportation.
- Prepare budgets based on terms of sales and pricing.
- Negotiate contracts for agreements to facilitate the efficient handling of goods/services to ensure maximum sales potential
- Oversee documentation and payments for export contracts
- Acquisition of products ensuring compliance with company quality requirement
