Tasks & responsibilities
- Review and assist with monthly reconciliation of aircraft inventory purchases ensuring consistency and accuracy between inventory management and accounting systems.
- Review and assist with monthly reconciliation of aircraft fleet and inventory work orders ensuring consistency between fleet and inventory management, and accounting systems.
- Liaise between Procurement, Stores & Engineering teams to ensure accuracy of ‘Open’ Purchase Orders & Repair Orders. Assist with preparation of forecast reports for management
- Assist with the accounting for aircraft fleet and inventory Work in Progress (WIP) data.
- Liaise with Procurement, Stores & Engineering for status and forecast of open WIP items including review and monitoring of weekly Fleet Status reports. Ensure completeness of labour cost allocations for capitalised WIP items
- Preparation and reconciliation of monthly fleet aircraft Run Out Reports to determine component movements, updating Fleet Aircraft Asset Register
- Assist with management of the Fleet Aircraft Asset Register. Ensure accuracy of monthly component movements, assist with the calculation & costing of monthly depreciation, and ensure consistency with reconciled monthly WIP
- Assist with accounting tasks for US production & manufacturing entity McDermott Aviation Parts LLC
