We are currently working with an international client, within Inventory Solutions industry, as they set up operations in Australia! This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage inventory control as well as all 3PL and stock movement. Client DetailsOur client operate in the Inventory and Freight solutions industry. With offices all over the world, Australia is the next location they have set sight on! The offer a range of solutions that focus on effective and cost-efficient management of inventory holdings. DescriptionAs Inventory Planner you will be responsible for the following:Manage and optimise all inventory control for local stockMonitor and ensure deliveries from suppliers are meeting SLA agreements and complianceCreation and processing of Purchase Requisitions and OrderReconciliation of invoicesEnsure adequate stocks at all key distributionPrepare and analyse all inventory reporting tools and recommend forecast requirementsADHOC Product and Cost reporting/analysis as requiredProvide back-up support to Logistics Coordinator when requiredConsider and approve/decline internal transfers between warehouses to meet pool stock requirements ProfileTo be considered you will need to demonstrate the following:Minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar roleExperience in purchasing or inventory planningExceptional stakeholder skills and relationship management experience, favourable if exposed to 3PL relationshipsCritical attention to detail and reporting skillsDemonstrated strong verbal and written communication skillsForklift & physical work is included in this role Job Offer6 month contract role, with potential to extend.Inclusive, friendly operational culture.Newly created role for you to take ownership of!
