About Us:The Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) delivers a justice and community safety system that works to build a safer, fairer and stronger Victoria. The Integrity and Investigations business unit is responsible for fraud and corruption prevention and investigations, child safe standards and DJCS's integrity culture program.
About the Role:Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, Integrity and Corruption Investigations, this position is responsible for conducting integrity and corruption investigations.
Some of your duties will include:- Applying sound knowledge and judgement and well-developed analytical skills to assess and review complex information, evidence and data trends.
- Providing administrative support to the Public Interest Disclosures Coordinator in assessing Public Interest Disclosure complaints within the department.
- Conducting and assisting in employee misconduct investigations across the whole range of Justice Business Units. This may include preparation of the necessary documentation, conducting interviews, evidence gathering, making findings and authoritative report writing on behalf of the business units.

About You:As an ideal candidate, you will have experience in:
- Managing a scientific, technical or specialist team and/or projects
- Independently performing professional or technical work at an advanced level in a narrow field of expertise or on research projects
- Providing professional scientific, technical or specialist advice based on field of expertise
- Undertaking technical data analysis and modelling and prepares reports
Qualifications:- Experience in investigations and a Certificate IV (Government Investigations) or equivalent training is essential.
