We are looking for an I.T Applications Support person to play a key role in the availability, maintenance, administration, configuration, and service management of various hospitality applications which underpin RACV’s Royal Pines and RACV Noosa Resort.
About the Opportunity
As the I.T Applications Support person for Leisure, you will be responsible for provisioning all hospitality technology services required to support the Leisure business nationally and primarily those located in Queensland.
This position exists to deliver quality support and upkeep of hospitality front end systems and as such requires application knowledge across core hospitality systems such as point of sale, property management systems, as well as the underpinning infrastructure services across desktop, network, server technology. The role is also a key point of contact for Royal Pines and Noosa managers and end-users, and is actively involved in the planning, quoting and delivery of any Technology services for this site, as well as providing supplemental support to all properties nationally.
The position also actively engages across various supply teams with the RACV Technology operating model to support and address service requests, incidents, change, problems, and ad-hoc project demand.
What you’ll need to be successful
- Minimum 5+ years in desktop/infrastructure support (desirable)
- 5+ years in vendor management and support (desirable)
- Hotel Management or IT degree
- ITIL, IT certification/degree (desirable)
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry (desirable)
- Possess sound oral and written communication skills
- Has strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills
- Understands and collaborates on the analysis of user/customer needs and represents this in their work.
