About the team:
Reporting to the Business Systems Manager as part of the Business Systems team of 3, you will be a key contributor to the identification and implementation of technology solutions to ensure efficient and effective ways of working.

In this newly created role within our Business Systems, you will focus on aligning business requirements with technology solutions.
This will involve supporting both our frontline and office-based teams with efficient ways of working.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Acting as an expert user across multiple applications both for support and implementations
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to understand and document business requirements and identifying key issues, risks and benefits available
- Identifying and assessing potential new technology solutions, including business intelligence, workforce mobility etc.
- Taking part in vendor management and engagement in areas such as ERP, reporting, online etc
- Implementation of new ways of working, including documentation and training of users
- Ensuring that current systems and processes are well documented and understood by our people. This will include the development and maintenance of User Guides, procedures and process maps
- Generating test cases for implementation and upgrades. Guiding users in test execution
- Participating in system implementations both large and small, across multiple areas of the business.
Your skills & attributes; The must have's:
- Bachelor’s degree in I.T. Management, Computer science or related Business field
- Over one year of experience in a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills that will equip you to build relationships and trust with stakeholders across all levels and divisions of the business, as well as navigate conflicting interests and opinions when they arise
- Effective prioritisation, adaptability, and coordination abilities
- Proven ability to gather business requirements and translate them into potential business solutions
- Process documentation and systems training experience
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- The ability to show initiative and provide creative problem-solving approaches
- Understanding of System Architecture
- Understanding of Microsoft infrastructure
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills – particularly Excel
It would be great if you also have these skills, however, it’s not essential and we are here to support and develop you too:
- Experience of business process mapping and re-engineering
- Experience with the implementation of enterprise-wide IT solutions
- Experience in a mid-sized community housing provider or other not-for-profit organization
