About the role
As an IT Infrastructure Services Manager, you will be responsible for combining team/people management experience and technology expertise to deliver excellent IT Infrastructure products and services to our Parks Victoria colleagues. You will oversee the day-to-day management and administration of IT Infrastructure technologies, champion and ensure ITIL processes and best practices are adhered to, support project delivery, and participate in Agile practices, product delivery structures, and fusion teams. You will drive outcomes from your team; prioritising work, coaching, mentoring, ensuring skills and expertise are maintained, managing capacity, and performance managing. You will be involved in managing the performance of suppliers and vendors, tracking budgets and expenditures, and ensuring organisational policies and procedures are followed. You will drive excellent IT Infrastructure service delivery, be involved with IT infrastructure strategies and roadmaps, and ensure Parks Victoria's IT Infrastructure is available, responsive, reliable, resilient, and secure.
We're looking for someone with:
- Expertise in IT Infrastructure management, across a broad range of technologies and services.
- Strong people and team management experience.
- Experience in managing vendors, suppliers, contracts, and budgets.
- Expertise in IT Industry frameworks and best practices, including ITIL, project management, Agile, product management, and IT Security; with an ability to navigate overlap and conflict between models, frameworks, and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills and problem management capabilities
