About Velocity Vehicle Group
As the Service Manager, you'll leverage your proven leadership abilities and extensive service background to oversee and drive the success of our Service Department at Daimler Trucks Laverton. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our
service operations while maintaining a best in class customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Service Department team to achieve targets and exceed expectations
- Take charge of all service and repair tasks, ensuring efficiency and quality at every stage
- Uphold the highest standards of workplace health and safety, prioritising employee well-being
- Identify and implement timely solutions to customer issues, fostering strong client relationships
- Ensure customer satisfaction remains paramount, nurturing existing connections and driving sales opportunities
- Monitor daily operations closely, adapting swiftly to challenges and unforeseen obstacles
- Maintain overall team productivity, ensuring work meets rigorous quality standards.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in service department leadership, preferably within the truck industry
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and workshop compliance
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on effective communication
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities
- Dedication to continuous improvement, driving innovation and efficiency
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, with a knack for motivating teams and upholding a positive work environment.
