We have an opportunity for an experienced Records Management Officer to join a collaborative team in one of our Public sector clients.
The role will focus on providing quality information services to ensure the short and long-term requirements are in line with NSW Government records.
This role is paying up to $42.00 per hour + super
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Responsible for processing mail and emails including scanning documents and registration classification and registration of all property correspondence.
- Provide direction and advice to ensure that all information management functions are aligned to the various regulatory authorities.
- Provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers, and ability to focus on process improvement.
- Manage and administer off-site storage and retrieval service.
- Assist in the ongoing Archival program for the appraisal and disposition of records both in
- physical and digital formats.
- Assist in the development of training materials, knowledge articles, creation of policies and procedures relating to information systems.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Strong experience working in Records Management using Electronic Document and Records Management System(s) EDRMS e.g. Trim or others.
- Strong knowledge of the State Records Act 1998 and Associated Records Management standards.
- Strong skills in MS SharePoint and experience in property numbering.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to suggest and implement process improvement where required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to negotiate when needed.
- Great stakeholder management skills and ability to liaise with all levels.
- Experience working in a Public Sector organisation would also be highly beneficial.
