The Role:
We are looking for an IT Support Officer with a passion for IT that will be an integral member of an IT Team responsible for supporting over 2000 users. The role includes a diverse variety of tasks in an ever-changing IT landscape. This is a role for someone who is just starting out in IT and is willing to work hard to gain more experience and start building their career.
Responsibilities will include
- Assisting local and remote staff with support for computers, laptops, printers, tablets, mobiles and VoIP Telephone hardware and associated software applications;
- Configuring & deploying computers, laptops, printers, tablets, mobiles & other devices;
- User administration in O365 and relevant SaaS solutions;
- Various IT projects.
Essential Requirements
- Completion of TAFE Certificate III or IV in Information Technology or equivalent experience;
- A real passion for IT and a desire to learn;
- Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise work;
- A high attention to detail;
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written);
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
Familiarity with
- Configuring & troubleshooting computers, laptops & printers;
- Networking fundamentals of computers, printers, and other devices;
- Cabled and Wireless LANs;
- Microsoft Windows environment;
- Microsoft Office 365 & associated applications;
