The Role:

We are looking for an IT Support Officer with a passion for IT that will be an integral member of an IT Team responsible for supporting over 2000 users. The role includes a diverse variety of tasks in an ever-changing IT landscape. This is a role for someone who is just starting out in IT and is willing to work hard to gain more experience and start building their career.

Responsibilities will include

• Assisting local and remote staff with support for computers, laptops, printers, tablets, mobiles and VoIP Telephone hardware and associated software applications;
• Configuring & deploying computers, laptops, printers, tablets, mobiles & other devices;
• User administration in O365 and relevant SaaS solutions;
• Various IT projects.

Essential Requirements

• Completion of TAFE Certificate III or IV in Information Technology or equivalent experience;
• A real passion for IT and a desire to learn;
• Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills;
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise work;
• A high attention to detail;
• Good communication skills (both verbal and written);
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;

Familiarity with

• Configuring & troubleshooting computers, laptops & printers;
• Networking fundamentals of computers, printers, and other devices;
• Cabled and Wireless LANs;
• Microsoft Windows environment;
• Microsoft Office 365 & associated applications;
