An exciting opportunity for a client-focused IT Support Officer to join our exceptional and dynamic team.
About the Position
As the IT Support Officer, you will provide trouble shooting and Tier 1 and 2 technical support and issues resolution to University end users for software, hardware, network points and various related devices. You will be responsible for supporting the management, configuration, and deployment of all types of personal computing devices and peripherals, platform application and operating systems software installations and upgrades.
You will be the face of all customers, while monitoring, and maintaining University computer systems and networks and primarily operate within a Microsoft Windows environment (with exposure to other systems including Macintosh, Linux and other mobile operating platforms)
About You
To be successful, you will require:
• Completion of a Diploma qualification and at least two (2) years’ subsequent relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
• Demonstrated experience in 1st and 2nd level technical support in an ITIL Service Desk environment.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, File and Print Services, DNS
• Troubleshooting PC, networks, servers, software and hardware problems, and Microsoft applications.
• Knowledge-base and site documentation
• ability to work effectively and consultatively in a teamwork environment.
• a high degree of initiative with good communication skills both oral and written.

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 5. The base salary will be in the range of $72,061 - $83,249 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $84,311 - $97,401 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
