Form of workGlass Expansion specialises in the design and manufacture of scientific equipment. An exciting opportunity is available for a forward thinking IT Support and Systems AdministrationOfficer to join our team on-site in Port Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide IT support to resolve technical issues relating to; software, printers, desktop hardware, internet, cameras, IP phones etc.
- Assist with configuration and installation of new IT hardware
- Maintain accurate records and reporting
- Communicate issue status and resolutions
- Assist with documentation of procedures
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
What we are looking for:
- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent customer service skills
- Independent troubleshooting capability
- An understanding of ERP systems
- Some knowledge of programming languages; Python3, Java Script;
- Some knowledge of virtualisation, ansible, DNS, routing, networks
- An understanding of Linux, Mac and Windows
- Ability to priorities and execute tasks
- A team player approach to your work
