Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
2. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues promptly and efficiently.
3. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
4. Set up and configure new user accounts and profiles.
5. Perform regular maintenance and updates on systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
6. Assist with the procurement and inventory management of IT equipment and software.
7. Collaborate with IT team members to implement and maintain IT policies, procedures, and standards.
8. Document IT procedures, solutions, and troubleshooting steps for reference purposes.
9. Train end-users on the proper use of hardware, software, and systems.
10. Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience of at least 3 yearsas an ICT Support Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and software applications.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues and providing timely resolutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
