SalaryThe Role:
An IT Systems Analyst (Planning) works in the Product Pipeline Group and engages with business areas, projects and programs of work that impact the Department. Analysts assist in feature preparation and capacity planning.
Primary Duties:
- Point of contact for all external projects / programs for work coming into the Department
- Engage with all projects / program of works for feature preparation - Planning and prioritising of upcoming work for delivery in future PIs
- Grooming Department features and ensure they are ready for delivery
- Capacity planning and forecasting
- Develop costings for programs & delivery areas
- Support delivery when there are issues with features
- work collaboratively with stakeholders to analyse functional and non-functional requirements, transforming them into work items for scrum teams to deliver iteratively.
- providing advice issues and risks that affect the development of applications, tools, and processes.
- working with developers and testers in the team to deliver application and system integration.
Location and Contract Term: This role can be based in Canberra, Brisbane, Box Hill or Penrith. 12 month contract starting 1 July 2024 with 3 x 12 month contract extension options pending budget and delegate approval.
Security Requirements: Applicants must be Australian Citizens and hold a baseline security clearance.
