It Systems Analyst - Senior - Level 5

The Role:
A Senior IT Systems Analyst (Planning) works in the Product Pipeline Group and engages with business areas, projects and programs of work that impact the Department. Analysts assist in feature preparation and capacity planning.
Primary Duties:
This senior lead role plays provides oversight across the team, ensuring key objectives and outcomes are met.
- developing, updating and reviewing technical design documentation
- work collaboratively with stakeholders to analyse functional and non-functional requirement and turn these into work items for scrum teams to deliver iteratively.
- providing advice issues and risks that affect the development of applications, tools and processes.
- collaborate with others system analysts to create and maintain standards across the branch and support a culture of continuous improvement
- working with developers and testers in the team to deliver application and system integration. contribute to testing activities, where required.
Location and Contract Term: This role can be based in Canberra, Brisbane, Box Hill or Penrith. 12 month contract starting 1 July 2024 with 3 x 12 month contract extension options pending budget and delegate approval.
Security Requirements: Applicants must be Australian Citizens and hold a baseline security clearance.
