System Analyst

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, and document business processes.
- Analyse existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Develop system requirements, specifications, and design documents based on business requirements and user feedback.
- Work closely with development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and system designs.
- Define and document system workflows, data flows, and integration points to ensure seamless communication between systems and applications.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and impact analyses to evaluate proposed solutions and changes.
- Create test plans, conduct system testing, and coordinate user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and reliability of solutions.
- Provide training and support to end users to facilitate the adoption and utilization of new systems and technologies.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in system analysis and design.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a System Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with requirements gathering, business process modeling, and system design methodologies.
- Proficiency in documenting system requirements, specifications, and design documents.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices.
- Knowledge of database concepts, SQL, and data modeling techniques.
- Experience with system integration, API design, and web services.
Due to the nature of the job, Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
