About the Role
We are seeking a capable and motivated IT Engineer to join our team and support IT at CleanPeak. In this role, you will be responsible for the lifecycle, operations and support of the Corporate IT domain and IT & network infrastructure. You will work with the technical support team in desktop/service desk issues as well as users/systems administration and also work on projects to implement enhancements, deploy new IT and cybersecurity solutions.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting of technical problems – software, hardware, network issues
- Perform system administration tasks such as user management, permissions, desktop/laptop and server/network service configuration
- Develop and enforce security policies, conduct audits, perform vulnerability assessments, and implement protective measures
- Implement and manage backup & disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability during system failures
- Monitor IT domain performance, generate reports, take corrective actions and address feedback to improve service quality
- Identify and implement solutions for continuous process improvement
- Create and update technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures, train end-users
- Undertake IT project scoping, design, planning and delivery - Implementation of IT solutions, system configurations and ensuring that technical projects meet the required specifications
- Vendor management of IT managed service provider’s day to day activities
- Vendor governance of IT managed service provider’s SLA & KPIs
- Liasing with Operational Technology vendors in design and delivery of IT solutions
Key Technical Skills
- Knowledge and experience with a wide range of technologies including Windows OS, IT infrastructure, Networking, Security and Applications
- Experience being a Global/Domain Admin within an environment.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure AD, Exchange, Intune MDM, Windows server, Windows client, AWS cloud
- Experience with system administration and maintenance of SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Sophos Antivirus, Acronis backup, TeamViewer software
- Experience with Mimecast email gateway
- Experience with setting up Windows SOE and reimaging desktops/laptops
- Experience with virtualisation technologies, such as Hyper-V
- Experience with TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, Routing, Firewall Security, VPN, Wireless solutions
- Experience with Cybersecurity and ISO27001
- Experience with Zero Trust security solution design and implementation
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Relevant IT educational Degree and/or certification
- Excellent collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build good relationships with end users and IT managed services provider
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Good understanding of Change Management Process
