Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively monitor and maintain clients' IT infrastructure to prevent problems and minimise downtime.
- Provide helpdesk and technical support services for clients' end-users.
- Manage and maintain clients' servers, storage, networking, desktop, and communications hardware and software solutions.
- Monitor security, manage incidents, and respond to security breaches for clients' IT systems.
- Manage and support clients' cloud-based systems and applications, including Microsoft 365.
- Implement data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Offer consulting services to help clients identify and implement IT solutions aligned with their business goals.
- Manage vendor relationships and procure hardware, software, and IT services.
- Provide training and education to clients' end-users to enhance IT system utilisation and security awareness.
- Scope, quote, and deliver projects for server, network, desktop, and communications hardware and software solutions.
Requirements:
- Experience working for an IT Managed Service Provider is advantageous but not essential.
- IT qualifications such as a university degree and/or industry certifications are considered advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current QLD Driver's licence.
- Permanent rights to work in Australia
- Available to work full time from our head office in Cairns QLD.
