The Company Join a non-for profit providing a range of health and aged care services, including hospitals, aged care facilities, and community care services. The Role The IT Team lead is responsible for providing IT Support to 150 users & 11 aged care facilities in a team of 2 with a direct report. - Travel to multiple sites across Newcastle, Hazelbrook & Hunter Region - Handson role- providing 1- 3 IT Support and assisting with overflow when required - Assist in maintenance and support all IT infrastructure hardware and software including switches, routers, servers, SAN's, desktops & laptops - Supporting users in person & remotely - Communication with third party vendors & project management - Responsible for 1 direct report Required background / knowledge / experience / personal qualities - Experience as being an escalation point or managing a small team - Police check, triple covid vaccination, Drivers license & car required - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders. - Customer service focused & a passion for IT - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Microsoft certification either MCSE, MCP or a CCA. - Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations is a plus. |
