The Role The IT Team lead is responsible for providing IT Support to 150 users & 11 aged care facilities in a team of 2 with a direct report. - Travel to multiple sites across Newcastle, Hazelbrook & Hunter Region- Handson role- providing 1- 3 IT Support and assisting with overflow when required- Assist in maintenance and support all IT infrastructure hardware and software including switches, routers, servers, SAN's, desktops & laptops- Supporting users in person & remotely- Communication with third party vendors & project management- Responsible for 1 direct report Required background / knowledge / experience / personal qualities - Experience as being an escalation point or managing a small team- Police check, triple covid vaccination, Drivers license & car required- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.- Customer service focused & a passion for IT- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- Microsoft certification either MCSE, MCP or a CCA.- Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations is a plus.
