ABOUT THE ROLE
This newly established role presents an exceptional opportunity to kickstart your career. You'll have the chance to work with some of the world's most iconic toy brands, consistently engaging in challenges that push your creative boundaries. You'll be tasked with creating renders that authentically capture the essence of our dynamic products, designed using a diverse array of materials and cutting-edge manufacturing techniques.
Main responsibilities
Under the direction from Senior 3D Designer, Branding Team or Design Team:
- Refine and remodel CAD models to allow for seamless and quality rendering.
- Accurately apply complex materials and colour, referencing supplied Product Specifications.
- Create basic lighting setups and render scenes.
- Create 3D renders of Product for Packaging, Design Review and Marketing Assets.
- Basic 3D Modelling to support Design and Packaging Teams.
- Develop personal workflows to allow import and process large volume of supplied 3D models.
ABOUT YOU
- A comprehensive portfolio to showcase skills in 3D modelling and 3D rendering.
- Knowledge of CAD and Rendering Software e.g. Solidworks, Rhino, Vray.
- Strong ability to think in 3D and create 3D models from sketches.
- Sound knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Ability to Identify and solve problems with CAD models.
- Basic understanding of Lighting Principles.
- Ability to follow direction and create a style based on Art Directors vision.
- Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
- High level of organisational skills and the ability to take ownership and follow Moose processes
- Open to new creative ideas and experiences.
- Able to adapt to changing circumstances
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
