Job Summary: You ideally have some accounting experience. You are passionate about accounting and analysing data and have high career ambitions. You are eager to learn and improve your accounting experience. You want to join a busy high performing finance team within a well-established national business and will be involved in day-to-day accounts.
This is an entry level position which is perfect for an accounting graduate or someone who wants to develop their accounting skills. There is also an opportunity to take the next step in your career in management accounting down the track. Key Responsibilities:
- Daily accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks.
- Raising customer invoices and processing vendor invoices.
- Liaising with our Operations team and responding to client and vendor queries.
- Allocating and posting daily bank receipts and payments.
- Following up with customers for overdue balances.
- Administration duties, including answering phone calls.
Skills & Experiences:
- Must have very good MS Excel skills.
- Preferably some experience with accounting and finance processes.
- Experience with an accounting system preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills is a must.
- Self-motivated, results driven and a desire to solve problems.
- Eager to improve and learn new finance and accounting processes.
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
