Junior Drafter/Pre-Graduate Engineer/Mechanical Engineering Draftsperson

Full Time Position

Salary  between $70,000 and $74,999

Due to the expansions in our Kalgoorlie Operations, we are currently seeking a qualified Junior Drafter/Pre-Graduate Engineer/Mechanical Engineering Draftsperson.

The Position is Kalgoorlie based and NOT FIFO.

Must be able to pass D&A Test and Police Clearance

Must have a current driver’s license

Must have at least Diploma in Engineering

Duties will include but not limited to:

• Develop and maintain Manufacturing Data Reports (MDR).
• Liaise with Engineers to collect product designs and requirements.
• Ensure final drawings comply with relevant Quality Standards.
• Produce detailed designs and drawings from rough sketches using CAD/CAE software such as SolidWorks.
• Calculate and specify dimensions and weight limitations.
• Material selection & cost estimation.
• Ensure drawings conform to relevant specifications.
• Read and understand technical Drawings.
• Develop and maintain Inspection & Testing Plans.
• Sending requests for Quotations.
• Procurement.
• Create technical and regulatory documents

Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience is desirable.
