Job description

Junior Financial Adviser - Work From Home

What makes us stand out? Recently awarded Australia's ***Best Financial Advice Employer**** by IFA, we are the nation's leading provider of financial advice, tailored exclusively to gen z and millennials.

Forget the stuffy corporate environment. At Sufficient Funds we give a damn, and we have the secret sauce required to have a huge positive impact on young people, setting them up for long term financial success.
We build deep relationships and make the process fun, engaging and results oriented for our clients and our team.

🚀 find your home in advice with the role you were born to do
🚀 work towards delivering life-changing advice for our growing client base
🚀 join a highly motivated, fun, young team who've been 100% virtual since way before Covid made it cool.

We're looking for a driven Financial Adviserto join our superstar team.

Background
We have nailed something that is VERY hard to find in advice: an holistic service that focuses on life first, then money to create an insane amount of value for young clients.

Despite popular belief, 25-45 year olds have money and they are willing to spend it on services that add value to their lives.

Over five years ago we created a business model that does a lot more than just spit out SOA’s and provide reviews each year. With our signature “Defining Sufficient" session we dive deep into our clients lives to help them truly understand what matters before creating their Money Action Plan (MAP™) that brings it all together and lights their financial worlds on fire.

With a waterfall of warm leads, we’ve had 100%+ year on year growth since day 1 and our SF Dream Team has grown from strength to strength across financial planning and our internal mortgage broking business.

We've invested significantly to build an incredible team in recent years and have a strong set of values that we all hold each other accountable to. We are now building the future of SF with our incubator of culturally-aligned high performers…which leads us to this new role.

The role
💥 full-time employed, remote and highly flexible - there’s no clock-watching at SF
💥 with a heavily impactful internal training program, you will become the face of SF for your clients. Conducting our hugely popular Defining Sufficient sessions, and leading your clients towards a life-changing money plan that makes the connection between life (number 1) and money (the facilitator)
💥 following a meticulous and proven process to engage and ensure delivery of Plans to 8+ new clients each month, balancing this with strong growth in ongoing service.
💥 work in a collaborative and consultative manner with our support team including associates, paraplanners & client services
💥 highly competitive remuneration package

About Us
If you don't want to learn and grow, this is not the role for you. This is a non-negotiable for our team. The willingness to share your learnings and, as you grow, help others grow is also an expectation here.
You might already know that we are cruisy, t-shirt-wearing and sun-loving, but there’s more to it than that; we practice what we preach and are truly living our Sufficient lives: working and earning in roles we love and that keep us interested, in turn building our own stories of financial success and enjoying the freedom that remote work allows us. If we had a signature scent it would be sunscreen!
Each individual in the SF team has strong emotional intelligence, and you will too. We have a desire to see others grow and succeed, and a deep care for the quality of our work, our team and critically, the lives of our clients. The above qualities make us a formidable force and we are incredibly proud of the amazing work we do. On top of all of this we truly care about each other and lead with kindness.
We, and our clients, have enjoyed immense success over the past few years and will continue to do so through rapid organic growth and continued strong partnerships with like-minded referral sources. As a result we continue to broaden and shape our team via very careful selection of our profession's best fits.

Requirements
🌟 You thrive on rapid learning and immediate application. You are energised by joining a collaborative environment where we constantly inspire one another to "Learn. Grow. Repeat."
🌟 You are energised, not drained, by client conversations. You have high emotional intelligence and you lean into difficult conversations when required, being a leader for your clients and showing them that you will always go “Beyond Sufficient”
🌟 Be a strong active listener and have the ability to engage and motivate potential and current clients to see and enjoy the immense value we can add to their lives
🌟 Be a self-starter who thrives with complete autonomy, with evidence of productive WFH
🌟 This role is open to junior applicants, but you ideally have a proven ability to successfully manage client relationships
🌟 Strong compliance history
🌟 Degree qualified & FASEA ready with 1 to 2 years’ experience as a Financial Adviser (We are open to considering the right candidate entering or completing a PY)
