Accounts Officer/Junior Financial Accountant

We are an experienced construction contractor servicing some of Australia's leading brands and government departments. We work in the education and health infrastructure sectors to deliver various sized construction projects. We are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join our team on a full time basis. Progression into a financial account role is a possibility. Great mentorship exists in the company and opportunity for career growth. 

You will perform all the following functions for a fast paced and vibrant company:

• Payroll processing 
• Accounts payable and receivable functions, administration and reporting 
• Project accounting
• Reconciliation of GL accounts and inter-company accounting
• Creating reports for management 
• Undertaking statutory obligations and reporting 

We are looking for an energetic and competent person to join our team. Working directly under the Chief Financial Officer you will have strong mentorship and a solid support system.

Experience with Xero is a must as is strong communication skills.
