Junior It Support Officer

Who are we looking for?

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are looking for a Junior IT Support Officer to join our small dynamic IT Team. This is an entry level role perfect for those with under 2 years’ experience, or have just completed relevant education, ready to commence your career within the IT industry. 

Key Requirements of this role will be:

• Diagnosis and the resolution of computer hardware, software, and network issues (in office & remote support). 
• Provisioning new hardware and devices with required configurations.
• Assist with software updates on systems and related infrastructure.
• Assist with the administration of Office 365 and email quarantine.
• Documentation of knowledge base articles.

Required Skills

• Demonstrate a broad understanding of IT concepts, highlighting key skills and interests.
• Windows desktop and server operating systems.
• Windows Infrastructure services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Office 365 administration.
• LAN and WAN concepts including routing, switching, VLANs and VPN.
• iOS device support.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Tertiary qualifications or relevant certifications in Information Technology.

Desirable Skills/Knowledge/Interests

• Support of ERP/CRM/POS systems (PRONTO Xi).
• Scripting experience (PowerShell).
• Virtual Machine Technology (VMware).
• Backup and Replication (VEEAM).
• Endpoint security.
• Network monitoring and asset management tools.
