ABOUT THE ROLE
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Junior Lawyer (0-2 years PAE) to join our firm. In this exciting and broad role, you will primarily focus on Industrial Relations and Employment Law matters. Working alongside our Construction Lawyers and collaborating closely with our Paralegals, you will provide exceptional legal services to our clients, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
Your role will involve providing advice and guidance on matters related to Industrial Relations and Employment Law.
Our Head Office is in Sydney, however you will have access to our Practice Manager/Senior Associate - Industrial Relations and Employment Law, who is currently based in QLD. You will also have access to three Paralegals (shared between IR and Construction).
ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
To be successful in this role, you should be a confident legal practitioner with relevant experience in Industrial Relations and Employment Law gained from a reputable practice. You possess a high degree of initiative, integrity, and openness. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
CRITERIA
- Degree qualification in law (Industrial Relations/Employment Law preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with high levels of initiative and motivation
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Experience with EA's and Fair Work Commission matters highly regarded though not essential
