Due to the rapid growth of our business in the fast changing employment law environment, WA Workplace Law has a vacancy for a Junior Lawyer.
At WA Workplace Law, a Perth based industrial relations and employment law firm servicing employer clients, you will work alongside a passionate, dynamic and committed team with a tailored approach to practicing employment law.
The role is ideally suited to someone who:
- has a problem-solving focus, a commitment to a team environment and who is keen to take responsibility for assisting and supporting other team members; and
- wants an opportunity for development and career progression, in the context of ongoing and long term employment.
Full time and part time options for employment can be considered.
The role will involve facilitating the development and provision of advice on a wide range of matters including:
- legislative, award and enterprise agreement research and interpretation;
- employment contract, policy and enterprise agreement development;
- performance management;
- dispute resolution;
- workplace investigations;
- unfair dismissal and general protections claims;
- discrimination; and
- generalised employment related matters.
Key Requirements:
- Excellent research and communication skills;
- Ability to analyse and interpret detailed information and provide concise advice;
- Commitment to teamwork; and
- A focus on problem-solving.
WA Workplace Law services a wide range of employer clients, from national corporations to local businesses, operating in a broad range of industries. Our office is located in Herdsman Business Park, Osborne Park.
Remuneration will be tailored based on qualifications and experience.
