Junior Mortgage Broker/Broker Associate

Addisons Advisory Group, a growing finance and property business in Mascot, is seeking the services of a Junior Mortgage Broker/Broker Associate. Due to our growing reputation, we have a fantastic opportunity for self-motivated & passionate Junior Mortgage Broker/Broker Associate to bring their enthusiasm, energy and passion to our industry leading team. .

The Role 

A great entry level position into the world of lending. You will be an integral part of the Addisons Group, acting as the go-between lenders, existing & potential clients.

Duties

• General admin - phones/emails/client files and transactions
• Regular follow up via phone with existing & potential client's
• Update Mercury (inhouse CRM) with all relevant information
• Liaising with other members in your team
• Assist with completing income assessment for PAYG applicants
• Assist with completing serviceability assessments & pricing
• Confirming existing commitments
• Assist with selection of bank/product suitability
• Assist with completing and sending credit proposal documents
• General activities as requested by the Director's

What you will need to succeed:

• Mortgage lending/credit experience preferred
• Client centric attitude & passion
• General understanding of the residential mortgage process
• Ability to build strong relationships with business partners
• Awareness of relevant legislation and industry standards
• Vision with ability to see the big picture
• Demonstrable negotiation and stakeholder management experience
• A polished and professional personal presentation  
• Demonstrated customer service and organisation skills  
• Strong attention to detail with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude!
• Ability to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks
• Be technologically savvy - with the ability to learn new systems quickly
• Able to work autonomously, using your initiative and experience
