The Opportunity
Located in the idyllic town of Waroona, Schlam Payload have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Project Administrator to provide full support services to assist in sourcing and delivering multiple projects to the Branch.
The Role
Offered as a six-to-12-month fixed term opportunity, the successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager to prepare the development of scopes, BOM and quotes for all enquiries received into the Branch.
Additionally, you will:
- Provide efficient and productive project coordination practices.
- Be accountable for the compilation of project documentation and preparation of reports and spreadsheets.
- Hold responsibility for purchasing project specific components and services.
- Raise cost variation notifications and monitor compliance to scope.
- Support proformas for end of month invoicing including material identification.
- Engage and collaborate with a wide range of system owners, maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Adhere and comply to the organisations systems and IT software (HR, QMS, SMS, Finance, INX and EXO).
You’ll hold the following qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Project Management or equivalent - desirable.
- Valid C Class Driver’s License.
You’ll also have experience in and possess:
- Proven experience in project management – project life cycles in a mining or construction environment.
- MYOB EXO or similar.
- Experience coordinating consensus outcomes (desirable).
- Microsoft Office Suite.
- Outstanding organisational and planning skills.
- A high level of interpersonal and skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of people, verbally and written.
- An understanding of Company Policies and Procedures.
